Dallas officials are expected to begin reviewing an independent investigator's report this week on the controversial actions of top police commanders following the June shooting death of Chief David Brown's son.

City Manager Mary Suhm hired former FBI  agent Terence Hart in June to investigate the circumstances surrounding an order for a last-minute Dallas police motorcycle escort for the funeral procession of David Brown Jr. The chief's son was shot by police on Father's Day  after he killed bystander Jeremy McMillian and Lancaster police Officer Craig Shaw.
