MISSOURI CITY, TX - A 31-year old Missouri City man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of killing and raping a woman two decades ago.

Edward George McGregor, was automatically sentenced to life in prison after a jury convicted him of the 1990 murder and rape of Kim Wildman.

The sentence was the heaviest allowed for McGregor, who was 17 when the crime was committed. He must serve at least 15 years before being considered for parole.

These numbers don't add up! Woman killed 20 years ago and the criminal which is 31, did it at the age of 17. Somehow there is ~6 yr error in this story somewhere.

Thank God he was convicted. This man is dangerous and evil.I think juries should be allowed to hear history and other pending crimes. How many times has a criminal been let go to only commit the same crime maybe worse the next time!!!! Good job Fort Bend Jury!!!!
