TEXAS CITY - A woman driving down Magnolia Avenue in Texas city last April claims in a lawsuit she experienced pain and suffereing, disfigurement and impairment and mentail anguish, when her car was suddenly hit by a backhoe.  That was worth $50,000 she says in her suit.

Doris McAdams Henderson is suing SER Constuction Partners Ltd. owners of the backhoe that was being operated by Raul Del Rio Gayton.

Her attorney, Lawrence Tylka of League City claims the operator violated several traffic laws and failed to put a flagman in the street to warn motorist.

The suit will be heard in the court of State District Judge Lonnie Cox in Galveston.
